Looking very healthy Rob.  So at what point in the shoots' annual growth do you trim them back?

Rob,

Looks great. Another question - do you keep it in afternoon shade when the weather is hot?

Best regards to all,

Augustine

Hi Brain,
I am planning to repot this tree probably next year. I will repot In early Spring. As far as pruning. I pinch the whole tree around the middle of spring when the growth has extended a bit. Then, let it grow, untouched, all season. In Fall, I do the styling work. I have noticed that if you follow those windows for Spruce. Repot Spring, pinch in late Spring and styling/branch removal in Fall, there seems to be no issues.
