I removed the top and moved a couple branches. This is a big tree at 44 inches tall. The trunk at the base is almost six inches across.

Al, I had to pull the last picture up beside this last one, but I notice a few differences. It looks like you're training the growth rather than letting it grow out. Is that the quicker than letting it grow, then chopping it back, lather, rinse, repeat?
