--- Quote from: Judy on July 09, 2014, 12:49 PM ---I just picked up a fan stamped koyo on ebay for my cork elm, can't wait to see it!  Gee, there are sure a lot of nice pots around, I can see why people can get addicted.

I watched the auction through to the end last night, hoping that solitary bid was yours!  Congrats, welcome to the addiction.  Please don't regard me as the crack was merely a suggestion! :P

I'm glad I was working and couldn't really watch it, but happy that I got it.  Seems like it will be a great fit, and it has been interesting to see what is out there available these days.
Thanks for turning me onto this.  At least it's a legal addiction!

--- Quote from: Owen Reich on July 09, 2014, 12:19 PM ---Apprenticeship is serious as a heart-attack.  When I'm helping my teacher, it's all business.  Fujikawa-san understands what the goal is with the slap-stick stuff.  Promotion of bonsai to a wider audience and showing that bonsai is not all hoity-toity formal conduct.  If your relationship with bonsai is not fun, you're doing something wrong  ;D.

The bonsai garden's website is:
Lots of good content and items to buy; especially the fan-stamped Koyo pots I helped organize.  The Continuum DVD is also really nice and available there.

Only thing about bonsai that's no fun at all is when you've pushed a tree too far, you knew it was too far beforehand but went ahead and did it anyway...then comes the stress and sleepless nights, until the tree either dies or makes a comeback....then you either feel relieved or feel like an idiot. such is the mistakes we make when still fresh in the game

so yes I'm all for bonsai fun, even if the fun is hard work, des ne  ;D

good work on the vids you guys, found them very informative

kind regards
