Here are the first six episodes of a new series Ive been working on about bonsai art in Japan. Please feel free to post all nice comments on this forum...and send all nasty and hateful criticisms to Owen Reich. Any suggestions for new topics that you'd like to see in upcoming videos, please let me know!

Hi Bjorn. Glad to see you on here. I've been enjoying the videos.
I enjoy seeing big transformations, big bends, raw stock being worked, etc. I also enjoy more on refinement, show preparation and setup.

John, good to hear from you as well! I will keep your ideas in mind for upcoming videos. Any heavy work/bending/etc will be done later in the year when this Osaka heat dies down, but we'll be putting it in the videos when it happens.
Bwaynef...thanks for reposting the videos! Still new to the forum posting, so I haven't figured out the details yet.

yea raw stock would be great. also how bout some pine work, like some of those beautiful shohin pines you got there?
