Title: Joy of Bonsai - Shohin

For those of you that might be in the North Florida area next month.

Kawa Bonsai Society is hosting their 1st annual Joy of Bonsai - Shohin event October 11, 12, and 13 in Bunnell, Florida.

Thanks for the pictures. My vote is for IMG_0617 for the most beautiful display. Lots of nice stands in the club! If I may critique the show, it would be to give each display more space. They all seem confined by the closeness of the dividers.

You're welcome and you are right in your assessment.  Things were a bit crowded.  However, that serves as a testament to the interest in small bonsai trees.

The trees came from all over the state of Florida.  In fact, way more trees than the club that organized the show expected.  I know they had to turn away quite a few trees for the lack of space.  This was the first time in Florida that a bonsai event focused strictly on smaller trees.

I thought it was very well received and the next one should be even better.

Ya, there were some very nice trees on display.  Quite a variety of different species also.
