good to see an old friend almost 3 years later....

Don,

I take it, that you recognized one of these trees.

Which one were you referring to?

Regards,
Paul

The semicascade jbp was mine.

I refined the deadwood at the major bend and will restyle it soon.  It has all the necessary branches to fill out soon.  Nice tree.

Outstanding, then that makes three of us who have had an impact on this particular jbp.

My contribution was the pot.

Thanks for posting these Paul, it's nice to see some green leaves at this point in the year for us in the north that don't keep tropicals!  The photography is also very nicely done.

Wow, that's pretty cool that three of you have had a hand in that bonsai. I like the trees in post #18, is that a green island ficus?

Hi Tom,

Yes, it is very cool that three members of this forum, from different parts of the country have had a hand in this particular tree.  It just goes to show that we do live in a small world.

I believe you are correct Tom, that does look like a green island ficus.

Good luck with your inaugural bonsai club meeting.  I hope everything goes smoothly.

Cheers,
Paul
