Carolina Bonsai Expo 18
« on: October 13, 2013, 08:51 PM »
Here are the pictures of the trees on display.  I didn't get to spend as much time as I'd liked to, but I was with family ...and they're not quite as interested as I am.

The white balance EVENTUALLY gets better.  Sorry about that first picture in the previous post.

Photo #40 was very well ramified.  I loved the layers.  What do you think?

I enjoyed this forest, though it didn't impress my wife all that much.  She couldn't put her finger on exactly why though.  My daughter really liked the dogs.

...And that TRIDENT!

The displays were certainly creative.  I didn't get enough pictures of full displays, except for the Virginia one.  What do you think of the leaves around the trees above?

Rose petals to go along with Virginia is for lovers (seen above.)

What do you say about this Ponderosa?

These were very large trees!  (That background is contextualized by a little sign in the display to the right (the pondie).  I'll see if I can pull a close-up from one of these full-res pics.)
