We've had good guest artists...

The show went great today and I think the displays were out together pretty nicely for our first show. Big thanks to John for all his help putting this together. Next year will be even better!

First picture is of my display with Michael Woods' (exitsanity) premna. The premna is a much nicer tree than my phone picture shows but I hope to get better pictures up soon. Second picture was for the best tree in the show, a fabulous Brazilian rain tree.

VEry nice raintree.  Although they seem to grow fast, they seem slow to bulk up, in a pot at least.

I'm working on more photos, the sun made it tricky for one side of the show. The rain tree has been grown from a cutting over a twenty year period.

Thanks Paul, it certainly needs a few more years of refining and filling in. I still haven't got around to getting the photos from my Nikon edited so here are some not so great pictures from my phone to whet your appetite.  A shohin display from John with a white pine, trident maple, and mini hosta is the first picture. Followed by a rather large ginkgo forest and a hinoki.

Thanks for the link Tom, looks like it was a good show.  The attention to details is evident.
