Wow, those are some great looking trees.  Looks like it was a great show.  Any more information regarding the show?  The club?

Thanks for sharing. I like seeing the trees in their winter look. Deciduous trees shine in winter, love the ramification.

Excellent trees.  The ramification on a lot of those trees really is impressive.  The show is all the more impressive by the number of trees with that level of ramification.  Clearly there are years of training behind many of them.

Any chance you're holding out pictures on us?  I'd love to see the shohin display hidden behind the pine in #17, particularly what looks to be a zelkova.

Thank you for kind comments. The club was started back in the late seventies and has changed in size and location throughout time. I have only been with the club for around a couple of years now although they have made me feel most welcome. The knowledge, experience and trees within the club are indeed of a high standard, some members display at the world famous RHS Chelsea flower show. Our winter show, the last being the 9th iteration, is held in the late winter / early spring taking advantage of, I'd argue, one of the nicest times of year just as trees are beginning to get going again.

I hope you like the pictures, you'll be aware it takes time to put things like these together and I'm pleased to see you've had a good look through. I like the Prunus mume personally but I'm biased as it was my offering!

Bwaynef - I shall have a look through the archive for said Shohin display, as we do have lots more pictures of the show and had to make selections for the website.
