I purchased this little pottery root stand off Tomohiro Masumi at Koju-en, at the time he told me who the artist was and that he was famous for hand carved pottery. I believe he said the artist was "Tojak" or something similar sounding? I have been unable to find anything on this name so believe I either have the spelling incorrect or possibly the name incorrect?

The chop on this item is a little difficult to photograph but this is the chop off another item by the same artist purchased by a friend at the same time.

Can anyone correctly identify the artist for me?

It's not me. For sure.

FYI.. I contacted Masumi-san via Facebook and he confirmed the maker as Tohjaku, or more commonly from what I have found "Tojaku".
