hollowed out river worn limestone as pots
« on: August 29, 2012, 07:36 PM »
I was hoping to find out what people thought about these
hollowed out limestone pots which I made. I am going to retire soon and
I am looking at possible ways to make a little extra money.

Rockpotter,
I fish rivers, I'm always looking for such things. I have a couple nice puzzle slabs like that, I love the layers. So I get it....
Few questions, do you carve them? Any drainage holes? Is it dyed, or is the background just that white? I'd be interested in what you may ask for that peice. I'm into fish tanks too, and if no market here, folks running river manifolds would pay good $ for nice centerpeices.

I think that pot is beautiful, if it is functional!
