Chop id help
« on: February 12, 2012, 10:20 PM »
Recently purchased this 12" round pot and wondered if anyone recognizes the chop mark?  It isn't an antique pot, nor particularly old.  No luck so far finding it in Ryan's database or anywhere else.  Thanks in advance!

Hey Genom,
You didn't find it in my Database because my database only deals with eastern potters.  This is a western pot.  I think that Chop may be upside down, and...Jos Jacobs, perhaps?

Thanks for the help, Ryan!  Indeed, the pictures as this http://bonsaipotplaza.com/world/bonsaieurop.html site leads me to agree this pot was made by Jos Jacobs.
