Title: Achieving an unobtrusive graft union
Post by: mrcasey on March 24, 2016, 06:05 PM
For the past couple of years, I've been trying my hand at grafting P. parviflora cultivars onto P. thunbergii rootstock.  My root stock tends to be a tad thicker than a pencil.  My scions tend to be maybe 1/2 that diameter.  Will the difference in thickness eventually even out or will I have a permanently ugly graft union?
